The suspended Secretary of the Government to the Federation, SFG Babachir Lawal, today failed to honor his invitation by the Senate ad-hoc committee on the mounting Humanitarian crisis in the North East part of Nigeria.
The committee had invited him over the allegations that he use his office as the Chairman of the Presidential Initiative on North East PINE, to award fictitious contracts to some companies allegedly linked to him.

Part of the allegations was that he awarded a N270 million contract to a company, Rholavision, to cut grass in IDP camps.
